The Port of Magdalla is an industrial lighterage port with little of interest to travelers. However, visitors to Surat may want to visit these sights. Surat’s climate is mild all year, but the best times to visit are between October and March.

The Surat textile market is one of the world’s best places to find high-quality embroidered silks and brocades. On Ring Road, it’s one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions.
