The Port of Cirebon has humid, hot weather. Tourists won’t need long sleeves or trousers. Cotton clothes are recommended, although some places like mosques require more formal dress. Women travelers to the Port of Cirebon are advised not to wear short shorts or mini-skirts.

The Port of Cirebon is known as a harbor town and a religious center for Islam. The city contains two historic palaces, the Istana Kasepuhan and the Istana Kanoman that visitors will want to visit. Visitors will also enjoy the local traditional meals called Nasi Jamblang.
