The Port of Taicang's Jincang Lake is an artificial wetland park of six square kilometers (2.3 square miles) with a 60-hectare lake in the center. Many man-made streams flow through the park. The park is a popular gathering place in the Port of Taicang for people who want to enjoy nature. This Port of Taicang park is open from 8am until 5pm daily.

The Yuanhuayuan Villa in the Port of Taicang features the best garden in the Yangtze River's southern region. More than 40 thousand flowers and 400 varieties of peonies blossom there each spring. The grounds contain areas for recreational activities, and the Villa also offers beautiful views of the river. Open from 8am until 5pm, the Yuanhuayuan Villa in the Port of Taicang has a small admission fee.

The Port of Taicang is proud to be home to the Residence of Zhang Pu, an author who wrote classic Chinese essays during the Ming Dynasty. Built about 400 years ago, the home is a cultural relic protected by the province. The well-preserved historic residence contains writing exhibits of Zhang Pu. The compound has three courtyards and outstanding examples of ancient Chinese architecture. The Port of Taicang's residence of Zhang Pu is open from 9am until 5:30pm daily.
