The Port Washington Harbor Commission is made up of seven members.
The Port Washington Marina offers 220 deep-water slips with electricity and courtesy docking for lunchtime stops with advance reservations. Slips can accommodate boats up to 15.2 meters (50 feet). The Port Washington Marina offers gas and diesel fuel, and a pump-out station. Private restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are available at the Port Washington Marina. There is also a six-lane launch ramp and a fish cleaning station in the marina. The Port Washington Marina has a mini-store offering cube and block ice, and there is a picnic area with tables and grills and a "Doggie Island" for pets. Boaters can apply for the waiting list for slips on the Port Washington Marina website.
The Port Washington Marina contains several fish and scuba diving charters, and the Ozaukee County Rescue Boat is docked there. The marina is within walking distance of several fine dining and casual restaurants and a water park.
The Port Washington Charter Captain's Association includes many fishing charter companies. Port Washington is an ideal destination for sport fishers. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reports that Port Washington charter boats have one of the highest King Salmon catches in the State. Each of the Association's captains is licensed by the US Coast Guard, and the Coast Guard regularly inspects all of the boats. The charters provide rods and reels, tackle, and professional cleaning/bagging of the catch. Each of the boats is equipped with state-of-the-art fishing and navigational electronics. The Port Washington Marina website has a list of the Association members and available charters.
