The City of Sheboygan's Board of Marina, Park & Forestry is an advisory board responsible for planning, developing, maintaining, and preserving the marina, parks and facilities, parkways, boulevards, and the forestry program for the Port of Sheboygan.
The C. Reiss Coal Company, part of Koch Carbon LLC, owns and operates the Port of Sheboygan Dock to receive liquid fertilizers and salt. The Port of Sheboygan Dock has berthing distance of 951 meters (3120 feet) with alongside depths of 5.8 and 6.1 meters (19 and 20 feet). There is an open storage area at the rear of this Port of Sheboygan dock with capacity for about 500 thousand tons of salt. A surface rail track connects the storage area with the Chicago and North Western Railway.
The Port of Sheboygan's Harbor Centre offers wonderful views of the lake, great restaurants, diverse shopping, comfortable lodgings, and outstanding entertainment. Skipper Bud's operates the Harbor Center Marina in the Port of Sheboygan with 281 slips that can accommodate vessels from 9.1 to 18.3 meters (30 to 60 feet). There are also docking facilities for mega-yachts just inside the harbor. Transient boaters will find moorage at both the marina and the Port of Sheboygan's city-operated docks.
The Harbor Centre Marina in the Port of Sheboygan has full-service floating docks and a wonderful park and sand beach. Within walking distance of downtown, the Marina offers on-site mechanical services, winter storage, fuel, sanitary pump-out, a fish-cleaning station, and uniformed night security. Amenities at this popular Port of Sheboygan marina include a private swimming pool and whirlpool, a laundromat, restrooms and showers, a boaters' lounge, cable TV, Wi-Fi access, and controlled parking. The marina has a ships store, deli, and convenience store as well as landscaped a picnic area with gas grills.
