Cruising vessels can find excellent moorage, services, and facilities at the Port Orchard and Bremerton Marinas, where travelers can establish a base for the entire Puget Sound. The expanded Port of Bremerton Marina opened in 2008 as the centerpiece of the city's downtown revitalization project. The Marina offers modern and comprehensive amenities and related services that are unmatched in Puget Sound. Over 60 slips at the new marina range from 11 to 18.3 meters, and additional inside tie moorage is available for larger vessels. Located near the Seattle/Bremerton ferry run, the marina makes for an easy commute. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance of the marina.
