The City of Manistee owns and operates the Manistee Harbor City Marina. Located next to Manistee Harbor's historic downtown and the Manistee Riverwalk, the Manistee Harbor City Marina is within a short walk of fine dining, shops, services, and local history.
The Manistee Harbor City Marina has opened a new facility that includes a large day room, modern showers, laundry facilities, picnic areas with grills, a dog run, free wireless Internet, and free shuttle service to the local casino. Broadside and slip mooring is available at the Manistee Harbor City Marina as well as seasonal or transient dockage. Marina customers will find electric power, dockside water hook-ups, gas and diesel, and sewage pump-out services.
The Manistee Inn & Marina is located in downtown Manistee Harbor. It offers 15 slips on the river and the Riverwalk for boats up to 8.5 meters (28 feet) long. The Marina offers electric and water hook-ups, a fish-cleaning station and freezer, restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and ice. Boaters can rent a slip for a day, a week, or a season.
The Insta Launch Campground & Marina is located on the Big Manistee River less than two kilometers (3.2 miles) from Manistee Harbor. Insta Launch offers campsites ranging from primitive ($23/day) to sites with full hook-ups ($34/day). Sites can also be rented for a week, a month, or for a season. Water's edge campsites are available. In addition to campsites, Manistee Harbor's Insta Launch Campground & Marina rents cabins, campers, trailers, and the Coho Lodge near the boat ramp that sleeps up to six people.
Manistee Harbor's Insta Launch Campground & Marina offers 102 boat wells that can accommodate boats to 7.3 meters (24 feet) long. This full-service marina offers both seasonal and transient slips, a travel lift, pump-out services, and repairs. Manistee Harbor's Solberg Marina also offers 180 campsites with access to bathrooms and showers and a fish-cleaning station. Solberg's Marina offers fishing charters from Manistee Harbor into Lake Michigan with experienced captains, fishing equipment, and fish cleaning and bagging.
Seng's Marina in Manistee Harbor has floating and stationary docks with over 90 slips that can accommodate boats of all sizes. The accessible slips have electric power, water, and cable TV hook-ups. Seng's Marina offers a bathhouse and coin-operated laundry for guests. Other amenities at this Manistee Harbor marina include a fish-cleaning station and common spaces with tables and chairs, picnic tables, and charcoal grills.
Manistee Harbor's Seng's Marina offers marine fuel and pump-out services as well as boat maintenance and repairs including engine and transmission replacements, fiberglass work, canvas repair, winterization, and installation of carpets. Morton Salt's Morton International Division owns and operates the Manistee Harbor Coal Dock where it receives coal by self-unloading vessel. The dock is served by rail tracks at the plant at the rear of the dock that connect with CSX Transportation. There is also an open storage area with capacity for about 45 thousand tons of coal. The Manistee Harbor Coal Dock has berthing distance of 152.4 meters (500 feet) with alongside depth of 7.9 meters (26 feet).
Morton International's Specialty Chemical Products Division owns and operates the Manistee Harbor Stone Dock where it receives limestone by self-unloading vessel. The dock has rail service that connects with CSX Transportation. It has an open storage area at the rear with capacity for about 10 thousand tons of limestone. The Manistee Harbor Stone Dock has berthing distance of 233.8 meters (767 feet) and alongside depth of 6.7 meters (22 feet).
Akzo Nobel Salt Inc. owns and operates the Manistee Harbor Plant Dock to receive coal by self-unloading vessel. The dock is served by a surface track at the plant to the rear of the dock that connects with CSX Transportation. An open storage area at the rear of this Manistee Harbor dock can accommodate about 200 thousand tons of coal. The Manistee Harbor Plant Dock has berthing distance of 121.9 meters (400 feet) with alongside depths of 5.8 and 6.4 meters (19 and 21 feet).
Seng Crane and Excavating's Dock No. 1 in Manistee Harbor receives sand, coal, and salt by self-unloading vessel. The open storage area at the rear of this Manistee Harbor dock can store about 300 thousand tons of material. This Manistee Harbor dock has berthing space of 274.3 meters (900 feet) and alongside depths of 7.6 and 6.1 meters (25 and 20 feet).
