The City of Boothbay Harbor is the port authority. The harbormaster's office is available on VHF Channels 9 and 16. Boothbay Harbor has several commercial marinas where boaters can find mooring, marine services, and a base for exploring the city.

The Boothbay Harbor Marina is convenient to Boothbay Harbor's restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment. Located near the local free trolley, this 24-hour locked and gated family-oriented marina offers amenities that include power, showers, laundry, groceries, cable TV, and ice.

The Boothbay Harbor Marina is open seven days a week throughout the vacation season from May through October. Daily dockage is available for $2.50 per foot or $3.00 per foot for vessels over 21.3 meters (70 feet). Moorings area available for $30 per night for vessels up to 9.1 meters (30 feet). Seasonal moorings are $875. Thirty-amp electricity is available for $5 for a power cord, and 50-amp cords are $7.50. Showers are open 24 hours a day, and there are coin-operated laundry facilities on the premises.

With a 7.6-meter (25-foot) deep channel, the Brown's Wharf Inn Marina in Boothbay Harbor has ships for boats up to 50.3 meters (165 feet). Brown's Wharf is a complex containing a restaurant, a hotel, and a resort marina.

Brown's Wharf has 45 slips in Boothbay Harbor. Its grounds are beautifully landscaped, and it offers amenities that include new showers, cable TV, a seafood restaurant, and a view of the water from every room of the resort motel.

The docks at Brown's Wharf are floating docks with fingerpiers, and alongside docking is available as well. There are six transient moorings available on a first-come first-served basis. Reservations can be made by phone or by contacting Brown's Wharf on VHF Channel 9 as you enter this Boothbay Harbor marina.

Daily dockage at Boothbay Harbor's Brown's Wharf is $2.50 per foot for vessels to 19.8 meters (65 feet) and $3 per foot above that length. Moorings are available for $35 per night for vessels to 12.2 meters (40 feet) and $50 per night for vessels from 12.2 to 30.5 meters (41 to 100 feet). Reservations are not required for moorings. Electricity is available for $6 for 30-amp power cords and $10 for 50-amp cords.

Brown's Wharf in Boothbay Harbor offers seasonal moorings for $1200. Moorings for larger vessels costs $75 per foot for minimum 9.1-meter (30-foot) vessels. Electricity and cables are $350 for 30-amp power and $550 for 50-amp power.

The Carousel Marina is located on the east side of Boothbay Harbor, offering breathtaking views of the sunset across the harbor as well as the working and pleasure boats entering and leaving the Boothbay Harbor. Facilities at the Carousel Marina include a clubhouse with a TV room and a game room, patio dining, wireless Internet, a fuel dock, parking, and overnight rooms for transient boaters or their guests. This Boothbay Harbor marina has an outdoor grill area, on-call boat pump-out service, new gas and diesel fuel pumps, showers and dressing rooms, and a ladies' room lounge.

The Captain's lounge at Boothbay Harbor's Carousel Marina is a great place for families, with a snack bar, recliners, a kitchen, tables, cable TV, and a VCR. There are two big furnished apartments at this Boothbay Harbor marina offering wonderful views of the sunset. The Carousel Marina also offers the Seafarer's Pub, the Whales Tale Restaurant, and a conference room with meeting facilities.

Boothbay Harbor's Carousel Marina has a hard-surface boat launch ramp and a ship's chandlery. Its deep-water floating docks can accommodate vessels to 54.9 meters (180 feet), and the docks can berth as many as 50 boats. The fuel dock can support yachts up to 61 meters (200 feet). The Carousel Marina in Boothbay Harbor has 28 heavy-duty deep-water moorings. It boasts new gas and diesel pumps and offers both liquefied natural gas and propane.

Located between two wharves, the Tugboat Inn Marina in Boothbay Harbor offers safe docking for short- and long-term stays for vessels of all types. During the season, the Tugboat Inn Marina has a hotel and restaurant for guests. This Boothbay Harbor facility has 15 moorings and slips for vessels to 30.5 meters (100 feet).

Tubboat Inn Marina slip rates range from $2 to $3 per foot, depending on the time of year. From mid-May to mid-June and from early September to mid-October, the rate is $2.50 per foot. From mid-June through early September, slips for vessels under 21.3 meters (70 feet) are $2.50, and for vessels 21.3 meters or more the rate is $3 per foot. Tugboat Inn Marina's slip rates in Boothbay Harbor include water, but the charge for 30- and 50-amp electric power have an additional charge.

Moorings in Boothbay Harbor's Tugboat Inn Marina, offered for vessels up to 12.2 meters (40 feet) are $25 from mid-May to mid-June and from early September to mid-October. From mid-June until early September, moorings are $29.
