The Town of Sandwich has operated the Port of Sandwich Marina since 1989 when it was created. The marina has 140 seasonal slips, 42 commercial slips, and 24 transient slips. A great stopping point for boaters visiting the quaint village and shops, the Port of Sandwich marina offers showers and fuel service.
The Port of Sandwich marina is conveniently located with quick access to the great fishing in Cape Cod Bay, and it is the gateway to the Cape Cod Canal that takes boaters to Buzzards Bay to the west.
The Port of Sandwich marina is said to have the best boat ramp on Cape Cod, which can be used for $10 for a daily pass and $100 for a season pass. The ramp is open from 7am until 4pm from Monday through Friday and from 5am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Transient slips are available in the Port of Sandwich, and reservations are strongly recommended for boaters wanting to moor there from June through September. The Port of Sandwich Marina offers winter storage and pressure washing service from mid-October until mid-May for $20 per foot. Local private vendors offer hauling and shrink-wrapping services.
The Port of Sandwich Harbor Master's Office is open all year. During the off-season, its hours are 7am to 3pm. Off-season, the fuel dock is open from 8:30am until 2:30pm, and it is open from 7am until 8pm in season. In the off-season, the Port of Sandwich marina does not offer pump-out services; however, pump out is available from 8am to 4pm in season.
