The City of Oceanside's Department of Harbor and Beaches provides public facilities and services in Oceanside Harbor. Its mission is to manage and improve Oceanside Harbor facilities that support a diversity of users.

Oceanside Harbor offers 24 slips and some side ties for cruisers. Reservations are necessary in advance for these slips. Other guest spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All incoming vessels without reservations must pull into the Guest Check slips next to the Harbor Patrol Boats to reserve a slip.

Oceanside Harbor offers berthing for about 950 small vessels, and it is a popular destination for sports fishers. The Oceanside Harbor fuel dock offers fishing supplies, boat fuel, bait, fishing gear, and ice. There is a snack bar at the dock as well.
