The City of Kenai owns and operates the Port of Kenai's City Dock, which has three seven-ton cranes and a launching ramp.
Located almost three kilometers (1.7 miles) above the mouth of the Kenai River on the Port of Kenai's Fidalgo Avenue, the 52-meter (170-foot) wharf with alongside depth of 1.2 meters (4 feet) receives seafood, handles fishing vessel supplies, and provides for fueling vessels.
The Port of Kenai's City Dock is equipped with fresh water, diesel fuel, gas, and restrooms. The wharf is also equipped with fuel pipelines that extend from two steel storage tanks with capacity for 350 barrels.
Several commercial interests use the Port of Kenai wharf for receiving seafood and fueling vessels. They include Pacific Star Seafoods, Salamatof Seafoods, Snug Harbor Seafoods, Ocean Beauty Seafoods, and Inlet Fish Producers.
