Port Canaveral

Port Canaveral is home to the second busiest cruise dock in the world. Located in Brevard County, the port is famous for the cruise ship lines that visit; Disney, Holland America, carnival, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International all regularly dock. Casino ships from Sterling Casino Lines and SunCruz Casinos also visit the port occasionally.

Since 2004, about 4.6 million cruise ship passengers pass through the port annually.

The port has become a shipment center for exports like fresh citrus, building materials and frozen fruit. On imports, Port Canaveral is a center receiving commodities like salt, steel, automobiles, lumber and plates.

Uniquely, Port Canaveral has its own annual festival. The SeaFest seafood festival is regularly held in the port center during spring. The festivities feature live music, seafood parade and feast and other performances from local performing artists.
